Accounts Payable Administrator

Devro (Scotland) Limited is part of Devro plc, one of the world's leading suppliers of collagen casings for food, used in the production of a wide variety of sausages and other meat products.  We have 2 modern manufacturing plants in Scotland, at Bellshill and Moodiesburn near Glasgow, and 4 other sites worldwide (USA, Czech Republic, Australia and China), employing over 2,000 people whose skills and knowledge range from chemical and electrical engineering to food technology, meat science and environmental health.

We are looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Administrator to work as part of the Finance Team. Your principle accountabilities will include, however, may not be limited to the following: 

 

  • Basic administration duties which will include routing supplier invoices through new FDMS systems
  • Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Scanning external invoices through the scanning system
  • Managing centralised mailboxes 

To be successful in this position you must have relevant experience within a fast paced Accounts Administration role. Excellent attention to detail is required as you will be working within a global support team. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills are imperative in this position. 

The ideal candidate will have the capability to manage their own workload effectively and be able to work in a team with the willingness to help others when required. You must be IT literate with Excel skills. You will be working with a variety of individuals on a daily basis so exceptional communication skills are essential.
