We are currently looking for a Procurement Project Coordinator to join our Procurement team. This is an interim position which is due to end in December 2019. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and manage activities relating to the implementation of procurement projects. You will provide support and guidance to other members of project teams to allow for the project programme to be delivered in a cost effective and timely manner.

You will act as the project lead for projects under the procurement programme and ensure Devro processes are adhered to at all times. You will be the internal expert and point of contact for all stakeholders in respect to the project programme. You will be required to identify the knowledge gaps that exist in the business that may hinder the progress of the programme and develop a repeatable process that can be followed.

You will be required to work with Finance and IT colleagues to verify spend and saving data and provide advice to the wider business projects if they are likely to be overlapping. You will provide regular communication to the business of the progress being made and the challenges that are faced and work closely with the local purchasing teams to identify better ways of working.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a procurement role where they have extensive experience managing projects, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You must be a strong influencer and negotiator with excellent planning skills. You must be a tenacious individual with positive outlook. The ability to vary your approach and style for the best solutions is key. You must have a proven track record of managing successful complex multi-site purchasing projects from start to finish.
