Accounts Payable Administrator

About the role:

  • Timely and accurate processing of employee T&E including all related payments and reconciliations.
  • Timely checking and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Daily bank reconciliation – Clearing and posting all entries to ensure no control breaks.
  • Interface as 1st point of contact with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any queries.
  • Timely posting of automated payments.
  • Manage up to date vendor open items and critical vendor statements.
  • Outlook mailbox management in line with SLAs – Various group mailboxes, e.g., Queries etc.
  • Vendor Master Data
  • System Super User
  • May perform other related/ad hoc tasks/projects as required and/or assigned.
  • Ensure all KPIs and SLAs are met. • Create and maintain excel reporting to internal business customers
  • Month end balance sheet reconciliations within month end close deadlines.

About You:

Skills: You will be comfortable interacting and building relationships with all levels of the organisation and ensure you maintain a professional approach at all times. You are self-motivated with great organisational skills and enjoy working as a part of a team. You pride yourself on your accuracy and attention to detail and have a great awareness of Risk and Control and audit control.

Knowledge: You will be IT literate and have advance Excel skills and finance system experience, preferably with JDE, Concur and an invoice workflow system.

Experience: You will ideally have three-year demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable within a manufacturing experience and or a Shared Service Centre environment.  You will have experience working to SLA’s and KPIs.
