The opportunity

This is an essential role within our business to manage the employee rewards and benefits programs. As the Compensation and Benefits manager, you will design, implement and administer competitive packages and benefits to attract and retain our top talent.

In addition, you will play a critical part in driving forward our high priority HR projects, maintaining employee satisfaction, ensuring fair and equitable compensation practices, supporting employee well-being and contributing to our business and HR strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advice to the business on salary and compensation in line with statutory requirements as well as the Company's philosophy and guidelines
  • Developing compensation and rewards strategies that attract and retain talent
  • Performing salary reviews based on market and sector-specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness
  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement
  • Evaluating and modifying existing compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures
  • Developing and implementing new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation
  • Drafting job descriptions, job analysis and classifications
  • Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues
  • Developing incentive and employee wellness programs
  • Monitoring internal equity and analytics
  • Periodically reporting on the development of C&B within Food & Pharma
  • Trains regional HR and line managers in the compensation areas
  • Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations

About you

  • Degree qualified or equivalent within HR or of a similar background e.g. business management, economics, IT etc
  • You will have an extensive background within a compensation, benefits, reward business partnering role. In addition, you will be experienced in leading, coordinating and driving forward multiple HR projects to achieve their deadlines
  • You will be proficient in the use of Excel at an advanced level as you will be working with complex HR data
  • You must have fluency in English for this role, and if you have professional level Dutch, this would be advantageous but not essential
  • You should be highly organised and adaptable with an analytical approach
  • You should enjoy an autonomous working environment and happily collaborate with senior management and all other stakeholders when needed
  • You will have a proactive and focussed approach to continuous improvement of processes, best practices, methods and systems
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders is imperative to this role
