Electrical Engineer

You will be familiar with our product ranges which are primarily used by customers in the production of sausage and meat products, however, our aspirations reach way beyond our current products and services, and appeal to our natural curiosity to improve what we do.

About the role:

  • Manage Facility Wide High / Medium / Low Voltage Systems. Design infrastructure.
  • Interact with Facility Control Systems (DCS) including their networking and infrastructure.
  • Maintain manufacturing systems power distribution infrastructure.
  • Create new power distribution systems to enable projects to be implemented safely.
  • Support power infrastructure in a legacy facility and create plans for future growth.
  • Lead and support critical safety programs relating to power distribution, such as Arc Flash compliance.
  • Subject matter expert relating to power distribution systems design and implementation.

About you:

  • Experience: 10+ Years of High / Medium / Low voltage power distribution systems design and operations. NFPA70E – in depth knowledge. 10+ years in a continuous manufacturing environment, preferably food or drink manufacturing, supporting and leading manufacturing and maintenance activities. Experienced in managing and dealing with specialist consultants, technicians, and contractors.
  • Skills: Minimum BSEE, preferably Master’s level education. Needs to be creative, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable of all applicable local and International Electrical Codes. (NFPA, IEEE etc.)
