About the role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to provide strategic financial oversight and business partnering to our Group Supply Chain function. This is a high-impact role, working closely with the Group Supply Chain Director and senior stakeholders to drive performance, enable informed decision-making, and support the delivery of our safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.
The role.

As a key member of both the Finance Leadership Team and the Supply Chain Leadership Team, you will lead end-to-end supply chain financial performance, manage site-based Supply Chain Finance teams, and act as a trusted advisor across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner the group supply chain Director and supply chain leadership, offering innovative solutions within the manufacturing entities, providing financial and strategic support to guide decisions to enable the ambitious delivery on safety, quality, service and cost
  • Supply chain finance leadership and governance
  • Financial performance management for the end-to-end supply chain including annual standard cost budgets, IBP forecasting, management reporting, variance and risk/opportunity management
  • Lead and provide financial input and analysis to key projects or process changes in supply chain manufacturing locally or globally as needed
  • Partner commercial and business development finance teams to provide supply chain cost driver understanding, insightful reporting and metrics to allow for optimal commercial decisions to be made
  • Capital expenditure budget management and investment governance
  • Maintain a sound internal control environment with the supply chain organisation through awareness, strong policy adherence and prompt audit action closure
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing site supply chain finance team

About you

  • Global senior finance experience gained within a similar industry, along with experience of matrix management in a complex international organisation
  • Strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting
  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is highly desirable
  • Commercially minded, resilient, and analytical, with strong problem-solving capability
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insight
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and Business Intelligence tools
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline or professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or CIMA)
