Our Engineering teams are full of passionate, highly innovative, and driven individuals, we are looking for similar graduates who will complement the talent we already we have. You will learn, not only about our products, but also our machinery and facilities so that you can understand how you will make an impactful difference for our company and customers.
About You:
Your passion is to design equipment and processes to improve product and process performance and safety. You will be confident and want to offer advice to others on equipment selection and specification. You will enjoy generating prototype designs, conducting testing, quantifying the results, and justifying your preferred design.
You will have the ability to generate technical drawings, using 2D & 3D modelling programmes. You will be responsible for performing commissioning and testing of new plants and systems, assessing their suitability for their stated purpose, and then monitoring the performance once the system is live. You will be driven to ensure you deliver your allocated projects on time and within budget.
We want you to grow and develop with us, so you must strive to consistently develop yourself through on the job training and/or external training or education.
You have graduated within the last 2 years and have a minimum 2:2 Degree in Mechanical/Automation (Mechatronic) Engineering. Industrial experience, specifically with industrial robotics, would be an advantage, but it not essential.
You will be a confident communicator and be comfortable explaining designs to others both internally and externally.
You are confident in your approach to designing and pride yourself on thinking outside of the box when faced with challenges.
You will understand and ensure that your allocated projects are planned and meet their timescales. Ideally you will have working knowledge of machinery design codes and safety standards. You will be comfortable with and have practical knowledge of 3D modelling, preferably Solid Edge.
