About the Role:

The Coordinator will be responsible for arranging the efficient transportation of goods to meet customer requirements in a timely & cost-effective manner, and to notify customs agent of advised imports to ensure customs clearance in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Booking Freight in to meet customer requirement
• Ensure best rates & service
• Co-ordinate relevant export/import paperwork/instructions required for freight forwarder
• Prepare & email despatch paperwork to relevant warehouses
• Maintain records of freight costs
• Resolve issues relating to shipments with freight forwarder
• Liaise with Intercompany sales & customer administrators with shipping details
• Send shipping documents for approval where required
• Checking & approving invoices from freight forwarders
• Monitoring shipments & updating status reports, advise any issues
• Develop and maintain key working relationships with freight forwarders
• Liaise with exporter on imports for Devro LTD & notify customs agent of advised imports to ensure customs clearance, where required arrange delivery

About You:

• Experience in importing/exporting product of animal origin desirable
• Experience with Export processing and International Trade
• Experience in Freight & Logistics procedures
• Strong team player
• A positive attitude and problem-solving skills, even in challenging situations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-moving environment
• Customs Academy Level 3 trained
• Strong Excel skills
