Project Engineer

You will be familiar with our product ranges which are primarily used by customers in the production of sausage and meat products, however, our aspirations reach way beyond our current products and services, and appeal to our natural curiosity to improve what we do.

About the role:

  • Review project scope of work to accurately define and prioritize all engineering deliverables required for the design. 
  • Manages Bid Packages in terms of evaluating bids for technical conformance, participates in overall Vendor selection and provides technical support to the Procurement team throughout the purchase cycleMaintain manufacturing systems power distribution infrastructure. 
  • Assists in evaluating plans for major projects utilizing front end loading (FEL) and best practices to facilitate cost effective process engineering and project development. 
  • The Project Engineer will provide experience in the supervision and control of onsite contractors, ensuring risk assessments and scope of work are followed. 

About you:

  • Experience: B.S. or M.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 5 to 10 years or equivalent experience in Mechanical/Process Engineering. Experience with AutoCad or other Engineering Software is preferred. 
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Individual should apply intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.  
  • Knowledge: Experience and/or knowledge with standard process and utility equipment in terms of operation and applications: Pumps, Piping, Valves, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Filtration, etc.
