Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a strong continuous improvement and cost‑saving culture in Nantong while sustaining high employee morale.
- Provide training on lean and problem‑solving tools (TPM, RCM, SMD, PSDM KT, A3, etc.).
- Collaborate with departments to identify process improvement opportunities across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability.
- Develop process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Facilitate deployment of new and updated processes to improve outcomes.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the manufacturing facility.
- Drive process standardization and implementation of metrics and best practices.
- Work with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and R&D to deliver a robust, cost‑effective end‑to‑end process.
- Identify and implement new technologies (Digitalization, AI, Automation), including requirements specifications, CAPEX justification, planning, and implementation.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Digitalization, AI; minimum Green Belt certification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/production involving LEAN, process engineering, or industrial engineering.
- Degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline) preferred.
- Strong mindset and skillset to support operational improvements.
- Good knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning.
- Experience working in cross‑functional business teams preferred.
- Proven ability to self‑manage and meet timelines and budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship building.
- Reliable and flexible approach.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Proficient in CAD (line layout tools).
- Strong reporting skills for project deliverables.
- Ability to perform ROI calculations.
