Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a strong continuous improvement and cost‑saving culture in Nantong while sustaining high employee morale.
  • Provide training on lean and problem‑solving tools (TPM, RCM, SMD, PSDM KT, A3, etc.).
  • Collaborate with departments to identify process improvement opportunities across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability.
  • Develop process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Facilitate deployment of new and updated processes to improve outcomes.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the manufacturing facility.
  • Drive process standardization and implementation of metrics and best practices.
  • Work with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and R&D to deliver a robust, cost‑effective end‑to‑end process.
  • Identify and implement new technologies (Digitalization, AI, Automation), including requirements specifications, CAPEX justification, planning, and implementation.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Digitalization, AI; minimum Green Belt certification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/production involving LEAN, process engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline) preferred.
  • Strong mindset and skillset to support operational improvements.
  • Good knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional business teams preferred.
  • Proven ability to self‑manage and meet timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship building.
  • Reliable and flexible approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Proficient in CAD (line layout tools).
  • Strong reporting skills for project deliverables.
  • Ability to perform ROI calculations.
