About the role

As the Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you will lead the finance function at our manufacturing site and play a pivotal role in delivering both global and local strategy. You will guide decision making, strengthen financial discipline and drive performance across safety, quality, service and cost. In addition, you will develop a high performing finance team and act as a trusted advisor to the Operations Director and site leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations to provide financial insight and guidance that supports strong performance and strategic decisions
  • Lead financial analysis to key manufacturing and supply chain initiatives
  • Manage, coach and grow a high performing Supply Chain Finance team
  • Oversee payroll function and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Deliver accurate month-end close and insightful reporting
  • Ownership of site annual standard cost budgets, including production, supply chain and capital expenditure budgets and cost-saving targets
  • Lead site forecasting within the annual budget and monthly IBP cycles
  • Review key purchasing and capital expenditure investment decisions
  • Maintain strong internal controls over inventory and asset valuation and audits
  • Collaborate with global finance and GBS teams to ensure effective operation and high-quality support
  • Oversee and provide commercial finance partnering to ANZ when required

About you

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification is essential
  • Advanced Excel skills and finance systems experience is essential - JD Edwards preferred
  • Strong background in manufacturing finance and cost accounting
  • Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving change
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems (e.g. MRP, MRP2, ERP) and IBP processes
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and project management capability
